Anna Ray

Anna Ray lives in Rickmansworth, England. She studied BA (Hons) and MFA Tapestry at the Edinburgh College of Art, and later became a Lecturer there as well before she moved away. She works with her subconscious, absorbing the textures and structures in the world around her, and deconstructing that into her works of art.

I find her art very beautiful. Her way of repeating small shapes and arranging them into something bigger is very mesmerizing. Her choice of colors and formations create a stunning scene of fun textures. It is very inviting to me.
